Boarding Life
In Springfield Boarding School, hostels are modern fully air-conditioned and refreshing buildings, built with the explicit purpose of offering stimulating and enriching experience where students can learn to ‘learn for life’.
Life in Springfield hostel means a whole panorama of experiences that span from making ‘friends for life’, to gaining the confidence to face life independently. At Springfield, the hostel is a home away from home, where children develop the ‘confidence to be independent’.
Each hostel is under the charge of a Warden and a matron. There are separate hostels for boys and girls,Junior and senior students.
At Springfield, caring and understanding support staff including housekeepers, matrons, aayas and maintenance staff, wardens and of course the principal and teachers to guide and pay special attention to the boarding students.
The reassuring ‘Buddy’ system
The ‘Buddy’ system is used for new boarders in which new students are allocated a ‘Buddy’ from their own peer group, who assists the new child in settling down in the boarding house. The peer-to-peer approach successfully addresses student’s doubts and worries in a friendly manner.
Exeats and Holidays
In the Springfield Hostel, students are allowed for outings on specified days provided there is a written permission from the parents in advance, and the school is satisfied that there is a responsible adult/authorized guardian in charge.
Interaction with Boarders
Children are encouraged to write letters to their parents regularly. In addition, children may receive calls from parents according to their calling schedule set by school.
Skills for Life

Birthdays
Once a month all children whose birthday falls during that month come together for a cake cutting ceremony along with a dance party and a special menu for the day.

The School has close guarded security system manned by security experts 24*7. An ultramodern close TV surveillance system covering the whole campus assists the security personnel providing round-the-clock security for the students.
Excellent Recreational Facilities
After school hours students are encouraged to participate in recreational activities. ‘Special evenings’ provide a chance to the students to display their talents in dramatics, dance, music and various aspects of stage management.
Sports Coaching and Facilities

Students are encouraged to take competitive exams for admission to professional courses, whether for the I.I.T., Engineering, Medical or Technical Colleges for other streams. To help students prepare for competitive exams, evening Medical and Engineering Entrance Coaching Classes are organized in school premises by expert tutors. Students are supplied with the necessary study materials and tips for appearing confidently in the National and State level exam
